The school is under the management of the Presentation Sisters. They are involved in educational , social and other forms of service to humanity. Rev.Fr.Ravel,a missionary, founded the Congregation in 1853. He was a man ahead of his times and his sole aim was to help women, face challenges of life with an ideal weapon “Education”, when knowledge was considered to be the prerogative of the upper caste and especially of males only. The main aim of our Congregation is to bear witness to Christ and his love in our daily life. In the educational field , the Presentation Congregation rules several colleges and schools . We , at Nirmala strive to reach out to the stars of excellence , not only in educational undertaking but also in every aspect of human struggle to achieve perfection. Hence our institution gives new orientation towards development by amalgamating integrity of creation with personal growth and social change. Our prime aim is “ Quality Education” that promotes values , as this type of education will give rise to several enlightened leaders from among our students who will work for peace in families , communities , national and international bodies . With the weapon of education , we must dispel the darkness of despair within us and shine for all to see and do all that is good and right and light million lamps of hope, through out this country for a new era of national reconstruction. We aim that every Nirmalite may glow like little flame that shines bright, wherever they go.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Fully equipped Laboratories are provided for Physics, Chemistry and Biology Subjects.
A well – equipped computer lab with many computer with A/C is provided for Computer Education.Students have Computer practical from STD III onwords.
Library provides a wide range of books and other media resources at all levels of interest.
Band, Karate, Dance, Yoga, meditation are taught at school.
Special coaching is arranged for Basket Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Hockey and athletics early morning every day.
As we are in the IT era, communicative skill is the need of the hour. Bearing this in mind, to cater and enhance the quest for language, a well equipped language, laboratory is installed with audio, video aids, internet and with home theatre very latest technique of LCD, to bring about a sea change in the curriculum.
