ACADEMICS

ADMISSION

  • For admission to L.K.G .the child should complete 3 years of age as on 31st July.
  • Age prescribed for
    • L.K.G - 3 Years +
    • U.K.G - 4 Years +
    • Std 1 - 5 Years +
  • Original birth certificate for verification, and a Xerox Copy of it should be attached with the application.
  • Unless the Date of Birth is proved genuine by one of the following, the application will be totally rejected. ( Corporation , Municipal or Panchayat Union Certificate)
  • Correct Information of all the columns should be furnished without fail and this will be used as a basis for the school records if the child is admitted into the school.
  • Transfer certificate should be produced for admission into U.K.G and other classes from the previous recognised schools
  • Students those who seek admission from other states (other than Tamilnadu), must produce their Transfer certificate counter signed by the Educational Authority of their District.
  • New admissions will not be entertained in Std X std XII.
  • Re-admission should be done to the students who promoted from U.K.G.to Std 1. A fresh admission fee is to be paid.
  • Part I Tamil, Hindi and French.

ADMISSION TO HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

  • All admission to the Higher Secondary Classes will be given at the discretion of the Principal, based on the criteria fixed for that current year.
  • Courses Offered In STD

    • Part II English compulsory for all groups.
    • Part III General Education along with the following combination of subjects are offered.
    • Group I Mathematics, Physics , Chemistry and Computer Science.
    • Group II Mathematics, Physics , Chemistry and Biology.
    • Group III Economics, Commerce, Accountancy and Computer Science.

TRANSFERS

A handwritten application by the parent should be submitted for the Transfer Certificate. It shall not be issued unless all the fees due for the term in which the pupil last attended have been remitted.

Note:

Written notice before a week is required for the withdrawal of a student


SCHOOL FEES

The fees can be paid annually or in three instalments in the school office.

  • I Term Last week of may 2016
  • II Term 1St Week of October 2016
  • III Term 1st Week of February 2017
Note:

A fine of Rs.25 / - Will be charged after the due date. Rs.10/- Will be charged for all extracts and the certificate.


SCHOOL UNIFORM

All pupils must come in full uniform to school. The uniform should be clean , starched and ironed without wrinkles. It should be worn on all working days and on School functions.Parents are requested to have the uniform of their ward stitched strictly as per the rules and norms of the school. Any violation in the pattern of the uniform worn shall warrant the need for a new uniform to be stitched. The model uniform pattern is available in the school office.

Note:

A student celebrating her birthday is allowed to wear colour dress. No sleeveless or transparent dress is permitted to school. Avoid Gold and silver.

EXAM, TESTS AND REPORTS

  • Terminal
    • Quaterly - September
    • Half Yearly - December
    • Annually - March
  • Mid Term : July, November & February.
  • Answer paper of all these examinations, except that of the Annual will be shown to the parents.
  • Those who secure 40% in every subject will be eligible to secure a rank.
  • Progress cards will be issued after each examination except that of the final.
  • Annual examination result will be published in thee-post.

CURRICULAR

CURRICULAR AND NON CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Christian Doctrine or Moral Science , English , Tamil , French , Mathematics , Science , Social Science , Physics, Chemistry , Biology , History , Geography , Drawing , Yoga, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Hindi, Communicative English and Computer Science are in our curricular activities. Periodically, the Literacy Associations and Science Club will meet and conduct elections, debates , competitions , quiz programmes etc., to promote the literacy and scientific knowledge of the children. Participation in extra-curricular activities is a must for all students , for which opportunities are provided. This is to promote physical fitness and talent development.
